I just want to go on record, and say you have not truly played Forza 4 until your almost 2 yr old daughter crawls on you lap, and starts singing and dancing. Bonus points because she had a computer keyboard and was swinging that around.

The urge to say "don't make me turn this car around!" was very strong, though I figured she wouldn't get the joke.

Forza 4... Oh my Lordy God do I love that game. I only started playing it one or two years ago when I was looking for a cheap racing game and then found out I already had one... That game was really great and had more cars, more tracks (Suzuka! Mugello! We miss you!), better interface, and was more well rounded overall I think than Forza 5, except for the graphics, which are okay. Autovista for life

I just started really playing today. It's really engaging. So engaging that I didn't notice my little take out every 360 game I own, and started to hide them, :/.

Yes, Forza 4 was better, but the game lost tracks from 4 to 5 because of the generation switch (360 to One), the same thing happened between 1 and 2 when the game went to 360 from the original Xbox.

I do miss all those tracks from Forza 4, but we also got Road America (and NEW layouts of Road America), Long Beach Street Circuit, AND Nurburgring (including The Behemoth) in Forza 5...

Oh, right... didn't realize you were the OP. oops. *embarrassed* God I miss 4. But coming from Horizon 2 on One, I could barely DRIVE in Forza 4 any more... it's like they keep changing the steering physics each and every game! Turn 10, Stick with a steering model, for chrissakes!

hahaha, it's ok, :). Coming from Horizon ( I beat it last night) to 4, the driving state is completely different. Actuslky, tha game's gameplay is different too!

I think it's safe to say, The Horizon series and the main series sort of tailor to two separate audiences. The main series is there to compete with gran turismo. Horizons is meant as just another run of the mill racing game. They just both happen to have similarities, but are different products, :).

I know. But if you llove Forza 4's driving, DO NOT get Forza 5... I use some of the same cars, and in my experience, the same braking points in 4 and 5 led me overshooting the turn, the driving dynamics, at least from my short jaunt from Horizon 2, in Forza 5 totally suck compared to Forza 4.

I do however, love the Long Beach Street circuit in Forza 5. Turn 10 did a great job with it, and even has the short East Course and West course (East course hosts the upcoming Formula E race, except the start straight is modified with a chicane just after the first sweeping corner). Road America was a DLC as well, but instead of the single layout, there are FIVE. Nurburgring also has new layouts, some removed, but the best is the combination Nordschleife + GP Strecke circuit.

Yeah, I love long beach anyway, and the indycars were a worthy addition. Combine the two things and you have a lot of fun.

I call playing GT6 (in my case) with a toddler in my lap "Expert Mode". I don't know how they do it, but they have an absolutely impeccable sense for the hardest corner on the track, which is obviously the best time to climb up/down, put their face directly in yours, etc.

I've adapted to playing it with the controller above or behind my head. I was actually sitting in s mushroom chair when the above happened. It's not that she wants my attention, is that she loves me and wants to be around me.

She also tried feeding me her carrots. :/
